Abraham van Laun and his brother Jacob continued the instrument-making firm of their father Hartog van Laun, in 1815. They made thermometers, orreries, telluriums and lunariums, they signed 'A en J van Laun fecit Amst.', 'A & J van Laun te Amsterdam' and 'A & J van Laun'. After Jacob's death in 1832 the firm was continued by Abraham van Emden (a cousin of Abraham and Jacob, and a grandson of Hartog van Laun).

Pelletier was Instrument maker between 1776-1809. He made: a.o. magnetic declinatorium, windlass, lever. He made copper work of some instruments in the Ebeling Kabinet (a cabinet of mathematical and physical instruments, collected by Mr. E. Ebeling), J. Kampman did the woodcarving. In the inventory of the Utrecht university of 1776 there were some physical instruments from his hand. For the "nijverheidstentoonstelling" in Amsterdam in 1809, Pelletier contributed some instruments.

Instrument maker from Amsterdam. Gudendag made surgical, optical and medical instruments. In 1909, he offered G.B. Salm to take over his company. Salm and Gudendag eventually decided to establish a Joint-stock company, N.V. Gudendag, which would be placed under direction of N.V. Instrumenthandel v | h G.B. Salm. Both corporations resided on the Keizersgracht. In 1911 the two companies signed a contract with a German instrument-making company, Veifa-Werke in Aschaffenburg. The Amsterdam company would now start to house a branch of Veifa-Werke. In October 1912, N.V. Gudendag was dissolved.
