18 januari 2010Alongside his interest in science, Christiaan Huygens was also fascinated by scientific instruments and the practical applications of his research. The following instruments gained improvements that can be attributed to him:
- the telescope
- the microscope
- the clock (the pendulum)
- lens grinding machines
- pneumatic pumps
- carriages
- wind force meters
- barometers
- spirit levels
- depth gauges.
