The Dutch History of Science Web Centre (DWC) aims to act as a portal for researchers, students and others with a serious interest in the history of Dutch science from earliest times down to the present day.

Here, you will find news items, a calendar of events, publications, biographies and various interesting web links. The DWC is and will remain work in progress, and in due course several new functionalities wil be added. This English website is a reduced version of the Dutch Digitaal Wetenschapshistorisch Centrum

This web site is an initiative of the Huygens Institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences.

The Digital Web Centre for the History of Science (DWC) is the starting point for all researchers interested in the history of science in the Low Countries. We offer news, events, publications, biographical information and many other interesting resources. Please subscribe to our mailing list in order to receive news updates.

The English pages do not offer the full range of information available on the Dutch-language site. However, you can access the main data source collections, as well as other selected pages.
