Biography:
Van Loon was a mathematician, astronomer and geometer. He called himself engraver and sea map maker. He also was writer of some books, which were published by Johannes van Keulen.
Van Loon made drawings for the Quadrans Astromomicus designed by Klaas Jansz. van Vooght (second half seventeenth century).
