Biography:
Cornelis de Bree de Oude was a compass maker opposite the Haringpakkerstoren, in 'Het Oude Cromhout' in Amsterdam, in 1672. He was the father of Cornelis de Bree de Jonge; he was still alive in 1729 and then named as a sail maker.
