Scientific instrument and globe maker in Amsterdam.Took over the globe-making factory of the widow of Leonard Valk at the end of the eighteenth century. Made terrestrial, and celestial globes, and armillary spheres. In 1802, 1821 and 1824 he made globes for Felix Meritis.

Scientific instrument maker from Argentan, France, who had a workshop in Amsterdam. In 1735 he was granted a patent from the States of Holland for the construction of globes and armillary spheres (terrestrial and celestial) with integrated clockwork. In 1736 he presented his work in a publication, called Beschrijving over de beweegbare globes (Amsterdam 1736). Audebert married Johanna van Grol on 25 August 1709 in the Walloon Church in Amsterdam.

Gerard Valck was globe maker, author and publisher in Amsterdam, from about 1680. During his apprenticeship he spent some years in London. Valck was apprenticed to Abraham Bloteling (his brother-in-law). He was the father of Leonhard Valk.

Instrument maker from Amsterdam. He made land- and seamaps and terrestrial globes. On June 25, 1771 he got privileges of the States of West-Holland and Friesland to make pocket globes.
